A referee was shot dead during an amateur football match in the city of Yerba Buena, in the province of Tucumán, and had to be rushed to hospital.
The incident happened at the end of the first half of the match: Oscar Antonio Perez48, was sitting at a table resting at half-time and when he felt his name shouted from the fence, he approached.

After exchanging words with the man, who has not yet been identified, and looking at his cell phone for a moment, the referee was shot twice.
