The Soccer Youth All-American Series includes some of the best players in the country playing together on teams competing in tournaments. Each All-American Series event features hundreds of players from across the country. The All-American Series is one of the nation’s most prestigious youth football events for individual players. Series events are held in key locations across the United States. Additionally, playing in the All-American Series gives each player the opportunity to be selected as one of the best players in each event, allowing them to participate in the Golden Cup All-American held each winter in Naples, Italy. Florida (Eastern version), and Mesa, Arizona (Western version). From there, players are selected for the All-American Super Cup and are recognized as one of the best players in the country for the year.
Logan Cortijo is in fifth grade at Shields Elementary and plays travel ball for Henlopen Soccer Club. He was nominated to play in the Soccer Youth All-American Series at Delaware last August. His team placed first in the championships for their age group. He traveled to Florida in December to compete in the Golden Cup All-American Series. His team placed first in the championships for their age group. He recently traveled to Texas to compete in the last All-American Series Super Cup in March. His team placed second in the final championships for their age group.
Logan and his teams are now recognized nationally for their commitment, hard work and dedication to their favorite sport.
