SAN JOSE – Several brawls and at least one shootout have been reported following a Thursday night football game at PayPal Park in San Jose, police said.
The San Jose Police Department said the fighting and shooting had been reported in the stadium and surrounding parking lots.
Five people were arrested and at least one was for “gun violation,” police said.

More than one person has been taken to hospital for treatment for injuries, “many resulting from physical assault,” police said. One person was wounded by a grazing bullet. None of the injuries were life threatening.
More than 40 police officers responded to the incident and an illegal assembly was declared, police said.
The San Jose earthquakes beat Cruz Azul 2-0 in an “international friendly” at the stadium on Thursday night.
Patrol units are responding and currently assisting PayPal fleet officers.
