District 4 sets playoff pairs for boys and girls soccer and field hockey | Sports

District 4 announced matchups and venues for the boys and girls soccer playoffs and field hockey.

The action begins on Tuesday with four first-round matches in the women’s 2A category of football. There will be a dual program at Selinsgrove High School. No.7 Hughesville will face No.10 Warrior Run at 5 p.m., while No.8 Shamokin and No.9 Midd-West will face off at 7 p.m.

The Balls Mills complex in Hepburnville will host the other two games. Towanda n ° 5 and Williamson n ° 12 will play at 6 p.m. with n ° 6 Montoursville and n ° 11 Milton will follow at 8 p.m.

The first round of the Boys 2A Class Soccer Playoffs is Wednesday at Loyalsock High School. No.6 Milton and No.11 Williamson will kick off the treble at 4 p.m. No.8 Hughesville vs. No.9 Southern Columbia will start at 6 p.m. while No.7 Warrior Run and No.10 Troy will be the last drink at 8 p.m.

Field hockey kicks off Thursday with three quarterfinal games at Selinsgrove High School. No.4 Central Columbia will face No.5 Mifflinburg at 3:30 p.m. No.3 Line Mountain vs. No.6 Midd-West will start at 5.30 p.m. The last drink is No.2 Lewisburg vs. No.7 Muncy at 7:30 pm Bloomsburg No. 1 has received a pass to the semi-finals next week.

The Class 2A women’s football quarter-finals will also take place on Thursday. Two matches will take place at Millard Ludwig Stadium in Millville. No.1 Central Columbia will face match winner Midd-West and Shamokin at 5pm, while No.3 Lewisburg will face winner Montoursville-Milton at 7pm.

The other two quarterfinals at Loyalsock High School will pit No.4 Troy against the winner of Towanda-Williamson at 5pm, while the winner of Hughesville-Warrior Run will face No.2 Benton at 7pm.

Saturday is the busiest day of the week with quadrupleheaders in Hughesville, Central Columbia, Danville and Loyalsock.

The Class A men’s soccer quarter-finals will be held in Hughesville and Danville. No.8 Galeton faces No.1 Millville at 2:00 p.m. at Hughesville, No.3 Sullivan County plays No.6 East Juniata at 6:00 p.m. No.2 Benton faces No.7 Bloomsburg at 2:00 p.m. at Danville, while as # 4 South Williamsport and # 5 Northeast Bradford at 4 p.m.

Three of the Class 2A men’s soccer quarter-finals will be held at Central Columbia. No.1 Lewisburg will face winner Hughesville-Southern Columbia at 2 p.m., while No.4 Wellsboro will face No.5 Danville at 4 p.m. No.3 Midd-West will face winner Williamson-Milton at Central Columbia, but the time has not been decided. The other quarterfinal of Class 2A men’s soccer will take place at 6 p.m. at Danville High, where the winner of the Troy-Warrior Run will play the No. 2 Loyalsock.

The boys’ class 3A semi-finals will both be held at Loyalsock High School. Jersey Shore No.3 and Athens No.2 will face off at 2pm, while seeded Selinsgrove and No.4 Mifflinburg will play at 4pm.

In women’s soccer, on Saturday, three of the four quarter-finals of Class A will begin at noon. The seeded south of Colombia faces the mountain n ° 8 of the line in the center of Colombia. Number 6 South Williamsport and Number 3 Bloomsburg play Danville, while Number 4 Millville and Number 5 Meadowbrook Christian will kick off Hughesville. No.2 East Juniata will play No.7 Wyalusing at 4 p.m. at Hughesville High School.

The class 3A girls semifinals will also be at Loyalsock. No.4 Mifflinburg will face No.1 Athens at noon, while No.2 Selinsgrove and No.3 Shikellamy will finish things off at 6pm.

The Class 2A Field Hockey Championship game will be held on October 31 at Central Columbia High School between Selinsgrove and Shikellamy at 5:00 p.m. ET.
