So what happened during the supposed argument between Haack and Young? On May 9, 2022, Daily Mail spotted the reality TV stars at a kids soccer game in Newport Beach, Calif.

Haack and El Moussa’s children, Brayden El Moussa and Taylor El Moussa, took the field. During this time, the Christina on the coast star sat on the sidelines with her husband, Joshua Hall, and a friend.

El Moussa, her ex-husband and former Flip or Flop co-star, was also there. He sat with Young, whom he married in 2021, as the two watched the game.

However, as the photos appeared to show, Haack and Young were arguing on the sidelines. At one point, El Moussa approached and led the sell sunset star away by arm.

It wasn’t the only tense moment. In addition to Haack and Young’s football game argument, El Moussa and Hall appeared to be having a heated exchange. They were pictured standing close to each other until, according to the Daily Mail, a coach pulled them apart.

The couples said a ‘personal matter was discussed’ amid supposedly ‘general tension’

“A personal matter was discussed and has since been resolved,” the two couples said in a statement to E! News. “We are focused on co-parenting as a team moving forward.”

While they said they were “moving on,” one person E! News dubbed a ‘source close to Tarek and Heather’ has shared the supposed reason why it happened.

“Heather and Christina haven’t been getting along lately and there has been general tension between the two couples,” they said.

They went on to say, “Christina feels Heather pushes herself when raising her kids.” As for Heather, she “didn’t feel like she was respected enough by Christina.” They also added that Heather is “doing a lot for the kids” and that the foursome “hope the worst is behind them”.

Previously, Haack said she and Young had been texting about snacking and that the two couples “get along great.”

The ‘Christina on the Coast’ star later said everything else was ‘just noise’

Haack took to Instagram after Brayden’s surgery to have his appendix and Meckel’s diverticulum removed. In an Instagram Story, the HGTV star provided an update on her son’s condition.

“Stressful 24 hours but a great reminder of the importance of teamwork/co-parenting,” Haack wrote alongside a photo of Brayden in a hospital bed. “We’re all under pressure, but when it really matters, we were all there for Brayden to do our part.”

“Sometimes a scary situation can be a good red flag,” she continued. “At the end of the day, everything else is just ‘noise’, what matters are the children.”
