Here are some of the best performances from September 13-19:

Alexis Ocasio, Neshaminy, women’s football

The junior had a goal and two assists against Pennsbury on Tuesday; Neshaminy then beat Pennsbury 4-0. The rest of the goals were scored by senior Kira Bradley and juniors Carly Fox and Gyzell Rowan.

Alaina McVeigh, Gwynedd Mercy, field hockey

The Duke commit senior led the team’s offense and scored four of their eight goals. Gwynedd Mercy won their third game in a row against Mount Saint Joseph, improving their record to 3-1.

Drew Brill, La Salle, cross country

The junior finished second overall in the boys’ championship race at the Briarwood Invitational, clocking 16:29. The Explorers team won the championship for the fourth year in a row.

Other Peak Performance

Women’s Soccer: Jaclyn Sowers, junior to William Tennent, scored three goals apiece against Upper Darby; Tennent won 8-0. The team swept all three games last week against Upper Darby on Monday, Springfield Township on Tuesday and New Hope Solebury on Friday.

Women’s Soccer: Lansdale Catholic’s Nicole Mezzatesta scored the game-winning goal late in the second half against Conwell-Egan on Monday; they won 1-0.

Women’s Soccer: Council Rock North rookie Mia Cairone scored the winning goal against Villa Joseph Marie to give the Indians a 1-0 win in the dying minutes of the game.

Friday night live:Bucks/Montco High School Football Game Updates

Boys Football: La Salle senior midfielder Eddie Donovan scored twice against Roman Catholics on Saturday, including a game-winning goal in the dying minutes, and a goal against Archbishop Ryan which they won 3-2.

Field Hockey: Junior Sophia Cozza scored all three goals in New Hope-Solebury’s 3-0 win over William Tennent. The Lions remain unbeaten at 4-0.

Field Hockey: Senior Kerry Kaufman scored three goals and two assists in CR South’s 8-0 win over Pennsbury. She also scored twice in the team’s 3-0 win over rivals CR North.

Field Hockey: Dock Mennonite sophomore midfielder Erin Miles scored his two of three goals. The Pioneers improved to 4-1 with their win over Jenkintown on Thursday.

Cross-country: Zachary Brill de La Salle finished the Briarwood Invitational third overall on the boys’ side with a time of 16:55.

Cross Country: Central Bucks West’s Brennan Wellock also clocked 4:55 at the Briarwood Invitational and tied Zachary Brill for third place. CB West placed third as a team in the championship.

Girls’ Water Polo: Pennridge’s Adi Garges scored six goals as his team won 13-6 over Wissahickon in Tuesday’s girls’ water polo match; the Rams improved to 4-1. Garges also contributed four goals in the Rams’ 21-9 win over Upper Merion on Monday.

Golf: Germantown Academy sophomore Ajeet Bagga led all golfers 35-1-under to lead Germantown Academy to victory in Tuesday’s Inter-AC Invitational.
