What do you like in football? : I especially like the team aspect. Football is a sport where a player cannot win the match for his team. It really takes all 11 players to produce a win. It’s mostly about being able to come together, build relationships, and win together as a team.

Most memorable moment in soccer: It was probably last year at our last tournament of my last travel season. We [Blue Ridge United] ended up narrowly qualifying for the tournament final and we ended up winning the tournament. I believe we won 3-0 in the final. It was a really good way out.

Most embarrassing moment in football: It was probably last year playing centre-back. I believe we were playing Page County and it was a corner kick. The ball went in and I completely missed the ball – I just swung and completely missed, fell and ended up hitting my head on the ground. It was really awkward because there was no one near me and I completely missed the ball. We had a good laugh about it.

Hardest moment in football: I think the mental aspect is definitely something to talk about because football is a very physically demanding sport. The 11 players must be in good physical and mental shape. People who think of football think it’s about running on the pitch, but they don’t really consider the mental aspect of running and moving off the ball, the little details that really make or break the way a team really plays. during a game.

Three people to dine with, dead or alive: My Pop-Pop on my mother’s side. He died when I was very young and I never really got to meet him, but from the stories I’ve heard about him he was a great guy and I think he could have m learn a lot of good life lessons. Patrick Mahomes, I’m a Chiefs fan and always have been. This guy is just a winner. He has a great mentality in everything he does. It really shows how hard work pays off; Eden Hazard, who played for Chelsea, a team I liked. He was the player who really made me fall in love with football.

Biggest athletic influence: Eden Hazard, I try to base the way I play a lot on him. Back when he was in his prime, just watching him play, the way he helped his team and the way he embarrassed the players, it really made me fall in love with the game.

Favorite teacher: My math teacher this year, Miss [Melissa] Astin. She is really just a teacher making sure everyone in the class understands the subject. At the same time, we are still able to joke around. She can relate to everyone in our younger generation. It just helps to have someone who’s cool like that.

Favorite athlete: Eden Hazard

Favorite Sports Team: Kansas City Chiefs

Favorite movie: “Fast and Furious 7”

Favorite TV Show: “Shooter”

Favorite Song: “May We All” by Florida Georgia Line

Favorite food: Chef’s salad. I love to eat salad.

The worst thing you’ve eaten: cauliflower. I do not like it at all. My mom tries to keep everything healthy, but I can’t.

Plans after high school: I will be attending JMU. I’m going to get a degree in business management and I’m also going to be looking to play club football there. My mother, she works in the HR department of Amazon. I’ve been in the car many times and been able to experience meetings. … I’m a little interested.
