The incident happened around 9:00 p.m., while the young man was watching a football match on the community field, and was attacked by a gunman.

A young man of about 18 years oldwas murdered on Saturday evening in community of Nuevo Colon, coregimiento of Sabanitas, province of Colon.

Impacts the young man was thrown to one side of the field.
National police arrived at the scenedid the looping with yellow tapeentire area to preserve the crime scene.

Initial reports say the shooter arrived at where the young man was, in which they exchanged words and then pulled out the gun, only to fatally wound him.
The shooter escaped through grasslands in the middle of darkness.
Operations have been launched throughout the area to try to find the armed men.
Expected arrival of prosecution staff to collect evidence, such as shell casings, and gather more data on this homicide on the Atlantic coast.
